Minds Reflekt - my first Etsy business

During the first lockdown of 2020, I wanted to use my time to start a business on Etsy - minds•reflekt

My shop began from my love of painting on glass during that fragile time. Initially, my dad, a builder, gave me big panels of glass which he was going to throw away and it was a great opportunity for me to repurpose them. Glass painting was already something I wanted to try myself, after the final push of Dora Marr's glass painting and my previous fascination in glass art.

After painting panels, I wanted to make some money from what I was doing as there were no work opportunities. I started painting on small glass orbs which I thought would be great as sun catchers and candleholders. I loved the way the sun and light would reflect the painted colours and patterns on its surroundings.
